Will Danny and Co be able to lift the title for the first time?

Hard at work: Danny Chia hitting a shot during a practice session yesterday.

BACK in 2015, little-known Indian Anirban Lahiri proudly held aloft the Seagram Trophy after winning the Malaysian Open golf title, beating Bernd Wiesberger. by just one stroke. It was indeed a victory to savour over the Austrian who finished third in the PGA European Tour’s Race to Dubai rankings last year.

The trophy, which has been lifted by the likes of Lee Westwood, Vijay Singh, Louis Oosthuizen, Arjun Atwal and Thongchai JAidee, has been standing idle since.
