WITH the form that made him a Ryder Cup champion and a multiple winner on the European Tour, the Englishman said: “The plan is to get the clubhead moving up and down on the ball-to-target line in the swing.
“On longer pitches, the clubhead will inevitably move slightly inside the ball to the target line, but I never want to feel it working back inside my hands.”
Narrow stance
I stand with my feet quite close together because it feels comfortable. You don’t need to develop power from your legs when pitching, so this allows me to stay balanced and focus on my upper body movement.
