PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s Kelly Tan has earned a first Major start in four years. She has qualified for the Women’s British Open, which will be held at the Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland from Aug 20-23.

The 26-year-old secured her ticket thanks to a superb outing at the just-concluded Marathon Classic on Sunday, where she managed a commendable joint-ninth after closing with a solid two-under 69 at the Highland Meadows Golf Club in Ohio.
