Glenmarie Golf & Country Club was the last venue to host a PGM Tour event – the Northport Championship last September.

AN air of anticipation has enveloped the Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Tour community as they wait patiently for the return to action on the fairways and greens.

This country’s sole national pro golf Tour is reeling from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, having only played one tournament in some 15 months. That was the Northport Championship at Glenmarie Golf & Country Club in Shah Alam, Selangor, last September when Gavin Green and Aretha Pan won the men’s and ladies’ titles.
