PETALING JAYA: An LPGA Tour debut has come early for newly-turned Malaysian professional golfer Alyaa Abdulghany after she secured a start in this week’s US$1.4mil (RM5.8mil) Cambia Portland Classic.

The 22-year-old made the cut with flying colours by winning the tournament’s Monday qualifier that took place at the event venue - the Oregon Golf Club in Orlando.
