Gavin stays cool to win season-opener by one stroke

PETALING JAYA: National No. 1 golfer Gavin Green (pic) showed nerves of steel to come good on the final stretch to claim the season-opening RM200,000 PGM Tun Ahmad Sarji Championship.

The 27-year-old Gavin held off a strong challenge from former national No. 1 Danny Chia to become the winner of the first PGM event in two years since the onset of Covid-19.
