Golf-Inaugural DP World Tour Hero Cup to take place in Abu Dhabi

(Reuters) - The DP World Tour is launching a new team match play contest called the Hero Cup to give European players experience in the format, with the inaugural edition scheduled for the Abu Dhabi Golf Club from Jan. 13-15 2023.

The DP World Tour said in a statement on Tuesday that the tournament in the United Arab Emirates will be presided over by 2023 European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald.
