Is Malaysia in line for LPGA return?

Brooke Henderson, along with world No. 1 Lydia Ko, Nelly Korda, Atthaya Thitikul, Jin Young Ko and a string of other top LPGA stars, will be in Pattaya for the Honda LPGA Thailand next week. — AP

LYDIA Ko, the women’s world number one, is due in South-East Asia for the brief early-season Asian Swing in Thailand and Singapore over the next few weeks.

And while Ko and Company don’t have a tournament to play in Malaysia just yet – this country has not hosted an event of that calibre in five years – there is a growing likelihood that several top LPGA Tour players could return to Kuala Lumpur for competition as early as end of the year.
