Home sweet home for Anson, all in the family for Ting

ANSON Yeo grew up just 20 minutes away from the Sarawak Golf Club. And he was not about to be beaten in his home course.

The 18-year-old, trailing by two strokes behind Selangor’s Ajmal Mohd Fajri going into the final round of the Sukma (Malaysia Games) golf tournament, decided to go for broke and rallied with a one-under 71 to wrest the gold in the boy’s individual competition, give hosts Sarawak a rare double.
