Puma launch new Shadowcat shoe

PUMA Golf have launched their new footwear: Shadowcat Nitro.

The company, in a statement, said the golf shoes were designed to “power through the fairways”.

“Nitrofoam delivers instant energy return with each swing,” Puma said. “Our Diamondtrax grip unleashes explosive speed for unparalleled distance. The shoes are also waterproof and breathable, and play through any conditions.”

The new Shadowcat Nitro Disc is equipped with the resilient material nitro in the entire midsole of the golf shoe, the statement added.

“The high resilience of nitro maximises the ground reaction force that pushes the ground with your foot during the downswing, making it easier to increase clubhead speed and ultimately increase the distance you can hit the ball.

“The outsole also features a distinctive cat-eye traction in the shape of a cat’s eye, inspired by the Puma logo.

“The cat-eye traction is positioned to take into account weight transfer during the swing, with the centre made of hard resin and the outer part made of flexible resin, providing a strong grip on the ground.”

The Shadowcat Nitro Disc shoe also features Puma’s Disc system that is a micro-adjusting dial closure system that quickly and easily secures your food for a locked-in, consistent and custom fit, the statement said.

The new Puma Shadowcat Nitro Disc shoes, now available at MST Golf stores, come with a suggested retail price tag of RM659.
