Amateur Mirabel out to make lasting impression

KUALA LUMPUR: Mirabel Ting (pic) will be the only amateur playing in the star-studded Maybank Championship field at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club this week but she is hoping to make a lasting impression.

The 19-year-old national No. 1 is one of the four Malaysians who will be teeing off alongside the top LPGA stars from tomorrow and she has extra motivation with her family coming to KL to see her play for the first time.
