KUALA LUMPUR: Thai golfer Jasmine Suwannapura started to build a good fan base after her exploits in the inaugural edition of the Maybank Championship last year.

The 31-year-old is now back for another crack at the jackpot. It was Suwannapura who stunned the top field LPGA tournament by taking the lead in the first two rounds before subsequently settling for third place.
