Mum’s the lucky charm as Jing Xuen bags Yaris Cup


KUALA LUMPUR: Amateur golfer Ng Jing Xuen (pic) can thank her lucky charm – her mother – after securing her second victory on the 2024 Toyota Tour, with the teenager shooting an impressive seven-under 206 to bag the Yaris Cup at the Mines Resort and Golf Club yesterday.

The 16-year-old, the 2023 SEA Games champion, credited the remarkable success to her mother Dorris Yew Chee Yee, who stepped up as her caddie for the past three days.
