THERE appears to be a sense of jitteriness that has swept through the golf industry, and it has to do with the situation regarding caddies – local and foreign.

This follows a report in Utusan Malaysia, whereby the Malay outlet quoted the director-general of the Immigration Department Malaysia, Datuk Zakaria Shaaban, as saying that as of Oct 31 there were only “324 foreign caddies” registered in the country.
