JUST like their football team in the Qatar World Cup last year, the Spanish hockey side had opted for a young squad to challenge for honours in the World Cup in India.

And it paid off as the world No. 8, who finished third in Group D behind table toppers England and runners-up India, made a grand entry into the quarter-finals after beating Malaysia in the crossover stage.
