Unglamorous warhorse Zulpidaus is Speedy Tigers’ dream first rusher

Solid character: Zulpidaus Mizun is ever ready to put his body on the line for the team during penalty corners.

PETALING JAYA: Being the first rusher during a penalty corner is a nasty job due to the body blows and injuries a player endures but warhorse Zulpidaus Mizun has fitted in well in that role for the Speedy Tigers.

As the name suggests, the player is the first off the blocks during penalty corners and runs straight to the ball that can be flicked at about 100kph to stop the opposition from scoring.
