Firhan’s brace earns Speedy Tigers a draw as Arul tests out new system


PETALING JAYA: Firhan Ashaari scored a brace to earn a 2-2 draw for Malaysia in their first match against South Korea to give national coach A. Arulselvaraj a positive start as he tried out a new playing system yesterday.

Firhan, who has moved up from midfield and is being utilised as a striker, scored through field goals in the third and 19th minutes before the Koreans struck back to score twice via penalty strokes (22nd and 29th).
