Malaysian University pass with flying colours to lift MHL title


KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian University (MU) hockey team ended a six-year wait to lift the women’s Malaysian Hockey League (MHL) title after coming from behind to edge CS Mustang HT 2-1 in the last league match.

In the match played at the National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil, MU under the guidance of Lailin Abu Hassan were given an early jolt after Nur Irdina Asnida Mohd Yusmi scored a field goal in the eighth minute of play.
