Sarjit ready to release Azimuddin for junior team if needed

PETALING JAYA: Rising young hockey player Azimuddin Syakir Kamaruddin (pic) is not part of the national juniors who are on a playing tour in Australia but national head coach Sarjit Singh has plans to include the midfielder in the Young Tigers squad.

The training squad of 26 under the guidance of I. Vikneswaran left for Australia where they will play six matches – four against the Australian Under-21 team and two against the Queensland state team from July 26-Aug 5.
