KUALA LUMPUR: The national junior men’s hockey team began their Brisbane friendly match series on the wrong foot, suffering a 2-4 defeat to the host nation’s junior team at the Queensland State Hockey Centre.
Malaysia’s two goals were contributed by Mohd Danish Aiman Khairil Anwar and Mohd Nor Syakir Hafiz in the 52nd and 56th minutes, respectively in Brisbane, Australia, yesterday.
