Depleted Pahang hockey team won’t give up title defence yet

PETALING JAYA: Defending hockey champions Pahang, severely depleted with just two survivors from their 2022 gold-medal winning side, have not thrown in the towel in their title defence at the Malaysian Games (Sukma).

Experienced players like current national seniors Syawal Abdul Razak, Izham Azhar, Noor Firdaus Rosdi, Idris Samad, Wan Najmie Ahmad Dzaib, Hamiz Ahir, Shafiq Ikmal and Shamir Rizmi Shamsul had played big roles to help Pahang nail their first gold two years ago.
