Speedy Tigers must overcome fear of tail end meltdown

PETALING JAYA: The fourth-quarter meltdowns in the last two international hockey competitions has denied Malaysia victory against Pakistan but a fitter and stronger Speedy Tigers are aiming for a positive start when they collide in the Asian Champions Trophy (ACT) in Inner Mongolia, China, on Sunday.

National head coach Sarjit Singh’s side faced Pakistan in their first international match during the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in Ipoh in May where they had taken a 4-1 lead in the opening match.
