MHC boss wants players to improve winning mentality

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian Hockey Confederation (MHC) president Datuk Seri Subahan Kamal (pic) is not worried about the performance of national team head coach Sarjit Singh. Instead, his concern lies with the players’ winning mentality during crucial moments.

Subahan remains confident that 61-year-old Sarjit has the ability to elevate the Speedy Tigers’ performance, but he believes the players must also step up. While he acknowledges that the national team’s recent performances have been less than stellar, Subahan feels that the players are lacking something in the final moments of matches.
