PETALING JAYA: Two defeats on the trot is a grim reading for the Malaysian Junior hockey team in the Sultan of Johor Cup.

After losing narrowly to New Zealand 2-3, Malaysia suffered their second consecutive defeat after being thrashed by Japan 1-4 at the Johor Hockey Stadium on Sunday.
