PETALING JAYA: Moto2 rider Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah could not have asked for a better restart to the season – he romped to sixth place in the Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez Circuit.

It was a sterling job by the Aspar Team rider who recovered nine positions from his starting grid place to finish the 23-lap race in 39:38.875.
