Record crowd expected at silver jubilee of Petronas Grand Prix


PETALING JAYA: The silver jubilee of the Petronas Grand Prix of Malaysia will be a grand affair at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) which is expected to attract a record crowd from Nov 1-3.

SIC, which started operations in 1999, is likely to lure close to 200,000 fans to celebrate Petronas’ 50th anniversary in style. It will also be a significant milestone for the MotoGP series, which enters its 75th year.
