Qabil settles for fifth in worlds after switch of venue


PETALING JAYA: Young rider Qabil Irfan (pic) managed to step on the podium at the FIM MiniGP World Finals, but it wasn’t enough to see him crowned champion.

The 12-year--old Qabil, who won last year’s 160cc world champion title, ended the season in fifth place overall in the 190cc category after finishing fifth and fourth in Race 1 and 2 respectively in Aragon, Spain, yesterday.
