LEEDS: Leeds United striker Alan Smith appears to have escaped prosecution for throwing a plastic bottle at fans during an English Premier League match against Manchester United.
The Crown Prosecution Service has advised West Yorkshire Police not to charge the footballer with any criminal offence from the match on Oct 28.
