Hashim brothers face Danish rivals for berths in quarter-finals

BIRMINGHAM: The Hashim brothers, Hafiz and Roslin, are left to carry the Malaysian challenge in the All-England men’s singles after the second round action where upsets were the order of the day at the National Indoor Arena here on Wednesday.

Defending champion Hafiz finally scored his best win after a year’s slump when he eliminated teammate and Malaysian number one Wong Choong Hann 15-3, 15-3 in a match that lasted just 40 minutes.
