SportExcel and YSD’s four-ward plan can pave way for more girls to excel


They’re in good hands: Founder and chairman of SportExcel Tunku Tan Sri Imran Tuanku Ja’afar said the girls in squash, swimming, tennis and cycling would be given international exposure to fast-track their progress.

PETALING JAYA: Expect more young and talented girls to come to the fore in squash, swimming, cycling and tennis.

This is following a landmark decision by Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD) to come on board to support the premier elite junior circuit grand finals and international exposure for female athletes’ programme by SportExcel through a sponsorship worth RM1.5 million.
