Afiqah breaks free from ghosts of the past to win gold

FOUR years ago at the Perak Malaysia Games (Sukma), weightlifter Nurul Afiqah Mohd Zamzuri won the 45kg event, but the gold medal was snatched away after she tested positive for drugs.

Subsequently, Afiqah was suspended for eight months from Sept 14, 2018, to May 13, 2019 for using methylhexaneamine.
