Para Sukma to see participation of 1,315 athletes

PETALING JAYA: A total of 1,315 athletes will begin their hunt for gold at the 2022 Malaysia Para Games (Para Sukma) from today.The opening ceremony at Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil last night was officiated by the Paralympic Council of Malaysia patron Tun Jeanne Abdullah.

The 20th edition of the Games, which runs until Saturday, will see a total of 10 different sports contested with 294 events and the participation of 15 contingents, including defending overall champions Sarawak and Brunei.
