Takraw team spoil host’s party to retain the silver

THE national men’s sepak takraw squad assured themselves of a silver medal after downing Cambodia 3-0 in the final match of the team event at the NSTC Basketball Hall yesterday.

After a heartbreaking loss to fancied Thailand in their first game yesterday, coach Ahmad Jais Baharun’s men managed to equal the feat achieved at the previous edition in Hanoi, Vietnam, last year.
