Alice falls in quarters, but remains the queen of hearts

No regrets: Alice Chang lost 4-11, 5-11, 11-9, 11-6, 6-11, 13-11, 8-11 to Thailand’s Suthasini Sawettabut. — FAIHAN GHANI/The Star

PADDLER Alice Chang came close but it was not good enough as she crashed out in the quarter-finals of the women’s singles quarter-finals.

However, she has no regrets. With a silver and a bronze already in the bag, the 22-year-old believes she is not very far behind the higher-ranked players, and she could have time on her hands.
