PETALING JAYA: There’s no one who has motivated national athlete Aaliyah Yoong Hanifah to succeed in waterski as much as her own father.

And yesterday, Aaliyah delivered the perfect Fathers Day gift for her devoted father, Hanifah Yoong Yin Fah by splashing to a historic bronze medal in the women’s open jump event at the World Under-21 Championships.
