Malaysia AoV loses 0-2 to China in final


HANGZHOU: The Malaysian contingent earned its second silver after the Malaysian Arena of Valor (AoV) team lost to home side China 2-0 at the China Hangzhou Esports Arena on Tuesday (Sept 26).

In round one, Malaysia took a 2-1 lead, but the Chinese team, all represented by professional AoV gamers, came back to beat them 8-3.

The second round was all China as they whooped the Malaysians 10-1 to bag the gold medal.

The Malaysia AoV team was represented by Chong Han Hui, Eng Jun Hao, Lai Chia Chien, Nicholas Ng Khai Shuan, Ong Jun Yang and Yong Zhan Quan.

The contingent have collected two silvers and four bronzes today (Sept 26).
