Wushu exponent Cheong Min wins first silver at Asiad

HANGZHOU: Wushu exponent Tan Cheong Min continued her winning ways by claiming silver for Malaysia in her Asian Games debut at the Xiaoshan Guali Sports Centre on Tuesday (Sept 26)

Cheong Min, the reigning world champion in nandao, garnered 19.419 points after the completion of nanquan and nandao all-round event.

The Melaka-born exponent was a double gold medallist for Malaysia at the Cambodia SEA Games in May.

China's Chen Huiying took the gold in the nanquan and nandao all-round with a combined total of 19.590 points.
