Qabil rides over setback to stay in contention for medal

Veteran horseback rider: Qabil Ambak has bagged three silvers and four bronzes since his Asiad debut in Bangkok in 1998.

HORSE rider Qabil Ambak galloped to a good start in his quest to claim his eighth career Asian Games medal after finishing fourth in the dressage individual qualifiers at Tong Lu Equestrian Centre yesterday.

There was a hiccup when the organisers left him out from the starting order and it caused his turn to be delayed but Qabil handled the situation well to finish his routine.
