PETALING JAYA: National long distance runner S. Poovasanthan stayed solid to defend his title at the Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon (KLSCM), thanks to his effective and well-executed strategy.

Competing in the full marathon local men’s category, Poovasanthan clocked 2’37:38 to emerge victorious at the Dataran Merdeka yesterday.
