Wai Ching headed for glorious year after winning start to 2024


PETALING JAYA: Tower runner Soh Wai Ching (pic) made a great start to 2024 when he won the Qingdao Vertical Marathon at Haitian Centre in Qingdao, China, yesterday.

The 28-year-old finished the 81-floor climb contest in 12 minutes and 17 seconds, breaking the previous course record of 12 minutes and 45 seconds held by China’s Shi Aiai.
