Sailor Khairulnizam aiming to acclimatise to Marseille waters as fast as possible

PETALING JAYA: National sailor Khairulnizam Mohd Afendy is banking on his seafaring knowledge to be the wind in his sails as the experienced athlete heads to his fourth straight Olympics appearance.

Currently ranked World No. 16 in the ILCA7 class, it is the highest a Malaysian has ever ranked in sailing, and 31-year-old Khairulnizam is in good spirits as he prepares to take to the waters at the Roucas Blanc Olympic Arena in Marseille.
