MARSEILLE, France (Reuters) - Officials abandoned a second attempt to complete the men's skiff medal race off Marseille on Thursday as the wind dropped completely mid-race, leaving the Olympic fleet in the doldrums.

Games officials said there would be no warning signal to indicate the start of another race after 17:37 local time (1537 GMT) meaning that if the wind does not build enough before then, the finely poised medal decider would be pushed back to Friday.
