ANIQ Kasdan is only ranked a distant eighth among the 12 weightlifters competing in the men’s 61kg.

Just for comparison, China’s defending champion Li Fabin, whose world record total is 318kg, secured the highest total of 314kg during the Olympic qualifying period. Segamat-born Aniq’s total was only 296kg.
