KUCHING: Bryan Ti Kai Jie overcame sweaty palms to spark a double-gold start for Melaka at the Sukma Sarawak in Kuching yesterday.

The 20-year-old won the boys’ nanquan event after scoring 9.600 points at the SSC Wushu Hall in Petra Jaya, thus becoming the first gold medallist in the 21st edition of Sukma.
