PETALING JAYA: Paris Olympian Mohd Aniq Kasdan and Aznil Bidin delivered big cheers for Malaysia with national record breaking feats en route to winning gold in the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships in Suva, Fiji yesterday.

Aniq showed his fourth place finish in the men’s 61kg category in the recent Paris Olympics was no fluke when he broke his own national record at the Vodafone Arena.
