Paddlers Qi Shen, Ai Xin emerge as home champions


KUALA LUMPUR: Table tennis players Wong Qi Shen (pic) and Tee Ai Xin ousted seniors to emerge as the men and women champions in the Malaysian Open at Wisma Sports Complex of the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) yesterday.

Kedahan Qi Shen battled his way to beat former national champion Choong Javen of Selangor 4-11, 11-2, 11-9, 10-12, 8-11, 11-7, 11-9 in the men’s singles event.
