Cherry creates history as first Malaysian to win World Cup Solo Latin


KUALA LUMPUR: National dancer Cherry Yeo Xiao Wei (pic) created history by becoming the first Malaysian to bag the World DanceSport Federation’s (WDSF) World Cup Solo Latin in Belgrade, Serbia, on Friday.

In a statement yesterday, the Malaysia Dancesport Federation said the 19-year-old showcased exceptional talent and artistry in securing the top spot in the Solo Latin Female category.
