PETALING JAYA: Perseverance paid off for shooter Johnathan Wong as he achieved his goal of qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympics on merit with a confident performance at the Asian Shooting Championships in Changwon, South Korea, yesterday.

Johnathan, who achieved the feat in the men’s 10m air pistol, said a good performance in the Asian Games in Hangzhou last month had boosted his confidence.
