PETALING JAYA: Negri Sembilan's Gan Chen Jie shot her way to the top with another Sukma record at the Sarawak Shooting Centre in Petra Jaya on Tuesday (Aug 20).

The 20-year-old bagged the girl’s 10m rifle gold medal with her score of 248.2, breaking the Games record of 243.7, previously held by Penang’s Shaveena Mei Vejayan at the 2022 Kuala Lumpur Sukma.

Penang’s Nur Maisarah Dzulkifli took silver with her score of 245.9, while Sarawak’s Kaira Ramadhani settled for bronze, scoring 220.4.

The previous record was held by Perak’s Nurul Syafani Abdul Razak of 569 set at the 2022 edition.
