Ainaa’s dramatic march into national final makes up for Asian Games miss


PETALING JAYA: Squash player Noor Ainaa Amani Ampandi made up for her disappointment of being excluded from the Hangzhou Asian Games by reaching the women’s final in the National Championships in super style.

The 21-year-old Ainaa did not start the way she had wanted to as she had to come from two sets down to beat her teammate Rachel Arnold 9-11, 2-11, 11-4, 11-6, 11-7 in an intense semi-final clash at the National Squash Centre in Bukit Jalil yesterday.
